Privacy policy

Last updated: 22 October 2026. This policy explains what PoseDubai.com keeps about you, why, and how to have it deleted. The terms of use apply as well.

What we collect

  • Account. If you register: your email and your password, stored only as a salted hash. When you log in, a session cookie keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. Logging out ends the session on our side, not only in your browser; changing or resetting the password ends all your other sessions. A password reset link is single-use, valid for 24 hours, and only its hash is stored.
  • Your ad. The details and photos you submit. Photos are stripped of location and other metadata. Your phone number and messenger contacts are seen only by the moderator and are never shown on the site. Photos of rejected or withdrawn ads are deleted after 30 days.
  • Activity on profiles. Reviews, likes and favourites are linked to your account. Reviews are published without your email.
  • Forms. Messages sent through the contact and report forms, with the email you choose to give. We do not store your IP address with them. To stop abuse, a one-way hash of your IP address and a counter of attempts are kept for up to a day.
  • Your browser. Your age confirmation is saved in your browser’s local storage and never sent to us.
  • Contact buttons. When you use the contact buttons on a profile, the address of that profile is passed to the service that opens the conversation, and the message prepared for you normally starts with it. You can delete it before sending. The conversation itself happens in your messenger, outside Pose Dubai.
  • Visit statistics. The site is delivered through Cloudflare, whose Web Analytics counts page views and load times without cookies and without building a profile of you.
  • Server logs. Like any website, our hosting may record technical data such as IP address and browser type for security and troubleshooting.

How we use it

We use this data only to run the site: to keep your account working, to moderate ads and reviews, to answer your messages, to handle reports and to see which pages work. We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not sell or share your data for marketing.

How long we keep it

Account data is kept while the account exists. Messages are kept as long as needed to handle them. Abuse counters are removed after a day; photos of rejected or withdrawn ads after 30 days.

Cookies

The site sets one cookie, the session cookie, and only after you log in. It is needed for the account to work and is not used for tracking. Cloudflare may set a short-lived security cookie to filter automated traffic.

Your rights

You can ask us to show, correct or delete the data we hold about you, or to close your account. Write to us through the contact form from the email linked to your account.
